EMA successfully hosted the National Competent Authority (NCA) electronic Product Information (ePI) Open Day on 10 June 2026 at EMA premises in Amsterdam. The event brought together NCAs to support readiness for ePI implementation under the forthcoming pharmaceutical legislation and provided an opportunity to discuss national preparedness, implementation considerations and expected timelines. The workshop received positive feedback from participating NCAs and will help inform the next steps for ePI implementation planning across the EU regulatory network.
For all stakeholders following ePI developments, we remind you that EMA has published the ePI draft implementation roadmap, which outlines the proposed approach and key milestones for the phased roll-out of structured electronic product information, as well as the updated ePI FAQ document, which provides additional clarifications to support stakeholders in understanding and implementing ePI. The FAQ document will continue to be updated as implementation progresses, including, where relevant, additional clarifications arising from stakeholder engagement activities such as the NCA ePI Open Day.
